Military Finances are Different

Did you know military members only pay Social Security and Medicare taxes on their Base Pay. Bonuses and special pay are exempt. That is not the case with your civilian counterparts. All employment income, including salary and bonuses, is subject to Social Security and Medicare taxes (excluding income above the wage limit for Social Security). That is just one of the ways your financial life is different than a civilian's. That's why we think Active and Retired Senior Military Officers and NCOs should work with a financial planner or advisor that deals with those differences every day. If you'd like to find out how we work with clients just like you, use the button below to schedule a free, initial consultation.
